Aggravated sexual assault occurs when offender at the time of the sexual assault, offender is armed with a deadly weapon and uses or threatens to use it on victim or on another. Aggravated sexual assault occurs when offender has previously been convicted of sexual assault or aggravated sexual assault. Aggravated sexual assault occurs when offender commits sexual act during a kidnapping. Aggravated sexual assault occurs when offender is joined or assisted by one or more persons in physically restraining, assaulting, or sexually assaulting victim. Aggravated sexual assault occurs when offender causes serious bodily injury to victim or to another.	A maximum of life in prison and/or a maximum fine of $50,000
